Sunday Family Day Pic

Okay... I'm a little behind this week, but I have a great excuse!  Kaity had her friend, Annie visit us from Minnesota last week and we were BUSY!!  We drove to Boise and stayed a couple nights to visit family and friends.  I even had my first workshop since I re-signed up as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator!  Thanks, Ralynn!!

We spent Thursday at the Old Idaho Pen and took some great pictures!  After an early dinner, and an expensive trip to Powell's Candy Shoppe, we walked around Kathryn Albertson Park.  We headed back to Utah on Friday and spent Saturday at the Downtown Farmer's Market and The Gateway.  Kaity & Annie wanted to see Park City, so we drove there on Sunday and it was BEAUTIFUL!!  What a perfect fall day!  Here are a few pictures from our fun week.  Enjoy and I'll post some craft projects next.  :)

Happy Birthday, Shawna!!

My cousin, Shawna and I just LOVE October!  Not only is it the month of Halloween, but it is also our birthday month.  Shawna never lets me forget that!  (As if I would!!)  I love this picture of the two of us at our Colson family reunion in July.  My family just moved to Utah from Minnesota about a month before and Shawna and I were so excited to see each other again!  It had been way too long!

Things I learned in Church this Sunday...

1.  You annoy the ones you love.
2.  I am my son's biggest toy...  he likes to play with the rings on my fingers, my watch, taking my hand to his chin, kissing my palm, rubbing his face on my shirt, rubbing his fingers between his toes and then holding my hand...  sigh...
3.  My son's primary love language must be Physical Touch, even though I thought it was Quality Time.
4.  My daughter draws some cool/cute/funny pictures during the message.  (See below)

5. My husband needs a new Bible Cover. (He passed me a note stating this fact.)
6.  It is worth $10 to pay my son to try out the Sunday School program next week, so I can enjoy whatever message is being presented.
7.  Jesus is the only way to God.

I hope this brought a little smile to your face.  Find a way to enjoy every day this week.

Happy Birthday to my dear friend, Miss Ralynn!!

This picture was taken by Ralynn's daughter, Taylor when they came to visit us in Utah a couple months ago.  We had to drive to Park City to check out the little shops downtown and the outlet mall!  What a fun day!  I hope you have a fantabulous birthday my friend!!

Sunday Family Day Pic

I love this group of pictures that I took of my niece, Callie playing Peek-a-Boo with my husband, Bryan and my daughter, Kaity.  We were visiting Boise last weekend for my birthday!  My sister, Stacy hosted a Demo Day at her house for everyone in our Groovy Stampers Stampin' Up! group.  We learned so much and had a great time!  What a fabulous way to spend my birthday.  :)

Hope you enjoy your week!

Hello Kitty Halloween Card

My oldest daughter, Kylie wanted me to send her some dresses for her upcoming Homecoming Dance at college and I couldn't just send those... I added a few little fun Halloween goodies to her box and quickly made this cute card using some Hello Kitty stickers I bought.  The rest of the items I used are all Stampin' Up!  (Of course!)  I used Tangerine Tango, Eggplant Envy and Whisper White cardstock, a couple Concord Grape Glitter Brads, dimensionals, Basic Black 1/8" thin Taffeta Ribbon and stamped the saying from Teeny Tiny Wishes using Basic Black.

Sunday Family Day Pic

I love this picture of my husband, Bryan and our two daughters, Kylie and Kaity.  This was taken at Hogle Zoo when Kylie was visiting us from Minnesota.  I was celebrating my birthday in Boise this weekend and missed having Kylie around.
