One general make-n-take is available for free for anyone that attends, as long as they RSVP by June 1st.
There are two more make-n-takes that you can make by either
     a) booking a party while at the event or
     b) placing an order out of the new catalog at the event.
If you think you fall into this category, please let us know when you RSVP so we have enough of the bonus kits.
RSVP by June 1st.
The new catalog is filled with great products and we can’t wait to get them into your hot little hands! These catalogs are FREE to all of my customers who attend this event!! (Whether you place an order or not!)
For add’l incentive, if you place an order at this event, your name will be put into a drawing for a free pack of new Designer Series Paper from your demonstrator. There are some GREAT selections this year with a lot of different color combinations and patterns!
A lot have asked about purchasing our retired sets, so we do plan on having newly retired sets at the camp for sale. We will only have out sets and embellishments that recently retired from the current catalog. I will have the rest listed on my blog, beginning June 1st.
If you cannot attend the event but want to place an order on the 9th, send me your order over email and the pack of paper you would want if your name is drawn. You have to attend the event to do the make-n-takes though!
Hope to see you there!!

Quick Note about Stamp Buffet

Due to life getting a little crazy last week, I have decided to postpone my Stampin' Buffet to June.  This means that we will be doing projects out of the NEW catalog that will be available June 1st!

Thanks for understanding!

Happy Mother's Day!

I want to wish my mom, my mother-in-law and all the other wonderful moms I know a VERY Happy Mother's Day!  Take time to enjoy this day and create some great memories.  We will be going to the new Avengers movie today after church.  Can't wait!

Here is a picture of the card I gave my Mother-in-law.  Yes, I mailed it on time...  This was another card that I made at Paula's Stampin' Buffet last month.

I also want to recommend a fabulous book that we are reading and studying in our Women's Group at church.  Calm My Anxious Heart by Linda Dillow is an amazing book!  I cannot tell you how much peace I have found by reading this book.  (and I'm only halfway through)  When I start to stress about something, I remind myself to think about the things I have read in this book.

Especially Philippians 4:6-9
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  Finally, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things.  Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me - put it into practice.  And the God of peace will be with you.  AMEN!!

Focus on the positive things and always thank God for what he has blessed you with.  Even when things are tough, find something to thank Him for and you will feel so much better!  That is my Mother's Day suggestion for you today.  :)

Happy Mother's Day!

Some fun projects

Here is the project I demonstrated at my Stampin' Up! party on Tuesday night.  I love these clear envelope mini scrapbooks!  (Thanks, Stacy for showing me how to make them!)  I created the album first and then created the cover next.  The cover would be really cute as a card, too!  I used the Big Shot to demonstrate the embossing folders and then I had the numbers and letters precut to save time.  I used the Alphabet Simple Numbers and the Timeless Type Junior Alphabet dies.  I love these and am sad that they are retiring too!  You still have until May 31st to order them, unless they sell out before then.

Any guesses who may be receiving this in August??  ;)

The next project was their Make-n-Take.  I wanted to keep it very simple, so I used another retiring set, Baroque Motifs.  I gave them the option of adding some texture by using the Square Lattice embossing folder.  Then I had to add some bling!  My favorite item in the catalog is still the Basic Pearls!  I could use them and the rhinestones on EVERYTHING!!  :)

These are two of the projects that will be available to make at my 1st Stampin' Buffet that I am hosting later this month.  You can choose Thursday, May 24th from 5 - 9 p.m. or Saturday, May 26th from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.  Check back tomorrow for all the projects and how to order.  This will also be available as a kit, so check the Monthly Kit tab on how to order that way.

Happy Birthday, Grandma Kathy!!

My mother-in-law is celebrating her birthday today, so my son made her a card last night after my Stampin' Up! party.  He really wanted to use the Big Shot and add some texture, so he chose the cute polka dots.  I love the Turtle & Co stamp set and am so sad that it is retiring!  I have a feeling that this will be a set I keep for a while.  As if Dylan would let me give it away!  He had a fun time using my current In Color markers to color the image.  I've trained him so well... he even remembered to huff on the stamps after he was done coloring them.  AND he cleaned them!  What a great kid!  I love the belated birthday saying with the turtle.  I am so bad about getting things in the mail on time!  At least this is proof that we are thinking of Grandma Kathy today and have her card ready.  :)

Check back tomorrow to see some the projects from my Stampin' Up! party last night and to learn about my 1st Stampin' Buffet coming up in a few weeks.  This will also be available as my Monthly Kit this month.  (Yes... I will be starting these again!)

Happy Stamping!!

Early Mother's Day Card

My mom just happened to be in town on Sunday, so she got her card and present early this year.  (Normally, I am very late!)  This is another card I made at Paula's Stamp Buffet last weekend.  Thanks again for designing a beautiful card, Paula!
