It's a Birthday Weekend!

Tomorrow will be the last day my son will be in single digits.  I can't believe my baby boy will be 10 on Sunday!!  He is so excited to bring birthday treats on Monday.  He wants to make little goody bags for everyone, so I promise to post a pic.  He loves to stamp with me, so I am hoping we can take some time to work on my September kits, too.  I am giving him my Birthday Pig card from my August Kit of the Month.  It is his favorite and everytime he sees it, he asks me to give it to him for his Birthday.  He sure made this year easy!  :) 

I can't wait to take some pictures on Sunday.  He wants to go to Park City again and ride the Alpine Slide at Olympic Park.  I have been dying to go to the Park Silly Farmer's Market that they have every Sunday there, so... I'm thinking it could work out for both of us.  Dad takes him on the slide and I get to shop...  for him of course.

Happy Back to School Day!

Well, at least we are starting school out in Utah!  This summer has just flown by!  My oldest daughter, Kylie will be starting back to college in a couple weeks, but my other two kids are heading back today.  Kaity starts high school and Dylan is a 4th grader this year.

I was busy Friday creating two more card designs to add to my August Kit that mails out Monday.  I wanted to showcase the flower buttons and how you can make a card without any stamps needed!  Hope you like these...

This has been a very crazy busy summer for me.  In case you didn't know, we moved from Boise, ID to Victoria, MN about 5 years ago.  My husband was transferred again this summer, so we have been calling Layton, UT home for almost 2 months now.  I have already had 3 trips to Boise to see my friends and family...  ;)  It is so nice to be closer to my family!  My niece, little Miss Callie turned 1 this weekend, so I took a ton of pictures!  It will be so fun to scrapbook everything. 

Speaking of scrapbooking, I attended a Scrap and Play event sponsored by Creating Keepsakes with my mom and sister this weekend, too.  I love going to these types of events, so I can recreate projects and techniques I've learned using my Stampin' Up! supplies. 

I have my really good friend, Ralynn in town right now with her daughter, so I will post a project later this week.  We are heading to Park City tomorrow!  What a fun and crazy summer!

Holiday Mini Preview Card

I just received my Holiday Mini Catalog preorder and I absolutely love everything in my box!  I had to make a quick, well... maybe not so quick... card using the new Gift Givers stamp set and Stocking Punch!  I will post a link in my gallery tomorrow, so you can see all the items used to make this cute card.  Hope you like this little preview!

Hello, Again!

I promise I haven't just dropped my blog!  I just returned last night from a fabulous weekend in Boise, Idaho for my 20 year High School reunion!!  I can't wait to post a scrapbook page using some of my photos from this trip.  I just placed another Stampin' Up! order, which means... lots of new items to play with!!!  Check back soon for some new projects.
